News Update! Nigerian Immigration Detained Sowore Upon Arrival At Lagos Airport

The officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service has reportedly detained Omoyele Sowore, a leader of the #EndBadGovernaceInNigerianow and #RevolutionNow upon arriving at the MMIA in Lagos on Sunday morning from the United States of America. 

Omoyele Sowore in a message posted on his own personal facebook page on Sunday morning after arriving at the Lagos Airport and thereafter detained by the Nigerian Immigration Service wrote thus: “DETAINED BY THE @NigerianImmigration, my International passport confiscated. I had just arrived in Nigeria from the USA to the MMIA in Lagos; upon reaching Nigerian Immigration, my passport was seized, and they told me They had orders to detain me”, he stated. 

Adding, Sowore said, “It is part of the broader clampdown by the fascist @officialAbat regime on dissent and their fear of the upcoming #FearlessINOctober. In case this becomes a prolonged and protracted detention, I urge our citizens to ensure ALL stop tyranny means portable and necessary, engaging in the planned series of direct actions slated for October 1st and beyond. #EndBadGovernaceInNigerianow #RevolutionNow”, he ended.
