NLC Welcomes President Tinubu With Strike Action Over Fuel Subsidy Removal

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has welcomed the recently inaugurated President of the Country, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR with strike action over the removal of the fuel subsidy. 

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, for the time since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was inaugurated as the President of the Country, declared a nationwide strike starting from Wednesday 7th June, 2023. 

The Apex Labour Union in the Country  announced the industrial action on Friday, following a meeting of its National Executive Council (NEC) in Abuja over the fuel subsidy removal and the subsequent hike in the pump price of petrol throughout the Country.
