NUJ Ekiti Council Sets To Hold Lecture On Insecurity

All is now set for the Nigeria Union Of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council to hold a public lecture on the spate of insecurities in our society today.

Announcing the event, on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti, Comrade O’Seun Ogunsakin, the Secretary of the NUJ in Ekiti State, through a statement signed by him, revealed that the public lecture would be held on Thursday, 4th of April, 2024 at the Sanni Abacha Hall, located within the premises of the Old Governor’s Office in Ado Ekiti, on the theme titled: “Breaking The Barriers To A Secured Society”.

Ogunsakin added that the security lecture will be delivered by the Southwest Coordinator of the Commander, Amotekun Corps, Ondo State Command, Mr. Adetunji Adeleye and Dr Olusola Moka of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.

The Union’s Scribe disclosed that participants expected at the events include Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Security Chiefs in the State, Local Government Chairmen, Traditional Rulers and other critical stakeholders.

While assuring that the event would equip participants with security tips, Ogunsakin urged the members of the public to attend the programme at 10:00am in the morning.
