Ogun Police Intensifies Efforts To Ensure Hitch – Free Eid-El-Fitr Celebrations

The Ogun State Police Command has intensified efforts towards ensuring a hitch – free Eid-El-Fitr celebrations in the State.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi gave the assurance in a press release signed and circulated to media houses in Abeokuta on Wednesday, 

DSP Babaseyi maintained that proper and adequate security arrangements has been made across the State in advance for this year’s Eid-el-Fitr to guarantee a peaceful, secure, and hitch-free celebrations in the State. 

The Command also promised to place high priority on the protection of worship centres, critical infrastructures, and the safety of all residents before, during, and after the festive period.

In line with this proactive approach, the Command has deployed personnel and operational assets in advance to strategic locations across the State.

Special attention has also been given to Eid prayer grounds and other places of worship, as well as markets, highways, and major public spaces. 

These early deployments are reinforced with coordinated patrols, intelligence-led operations, and surveillance to deter criminal activities and ensure prompt response to any threat.

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, Ph.D, congratulated the Muslim faithfuls in advance on the successful completion of the Ramadan and extends his best wishes to them for a peaceful and orderly Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

He reassures the residents of the Command’s firm commitment to maintaining law and order and safeguarding lives and property across the State.
