Ondo Set For Inauguration Of Governor Aiyedatiwa, Deputy February 24th

The people of Ondo State are set for the inauguration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami, with a week-long celebration starting on February 21, 2025 and ending on February 24th, 2025.

According to the statement signed and made available to Treasure Newspaper on Monday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan revealed that, “the inauguration ceremony will kick off with a Jumat Service at the Akure Central Mosque on February 21, followed by a Beach Sunsplash at Araromi Seaside in Ilaje Local Government Area on February 22. The Beach Sunsplash will also feature a World Press Conference, where Governor Aiyedatiwa will showcase the tourism potential of the site.

On February 23, a Church Thanksgiving Service will hold at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Oke-Ijebu, Akure.

The swearing-in ceremony of the Governor and Deputy Governor will take place on February 24, 2025, at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure. The day will culminate in an Inauguration Gala Nite and Book Presentation at the International Centre for Culture & Events (The Dome), Akure.

According to Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, the Inauguration Committee has planned a series of events to make the ceremony memorable.
