SAVE EKITI YOUTH FROM THE FAILED YOUTH COMMISSIONER

The leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ekiti State expresses our grievances against the unholy and selfish interest of Honourable Awopetu in the just concluded Council election.

Sir, the election was conducted at Pavilion, Fajuyi Park under a wide coverage of the Stakeholders, DSS, NSCDC, Media and Delegates. The election produced Comrade Bankole Oluwasegun James as the elected Chairman of the Council with (109 votes) and Comrade Famuyibo Oluwasegun Nathaniel with (14 votes).

Surprisingly, the Commissioner kept mute despite all documentation and reports of the election delivered to his office, only to see an official (Congratulatory Letter) on social media with the official letterhead of Ekiti State Government for Comrade Famuyibo Segun who scored (14 votes). It’s glaring at the moment that Pastor Awopetu has inordinate plans to frustrate the government of Hon. Biodun Oyebanji through one Famuyibo. Awopetu in his gibberish thought perfected his plans to issue an official congratulatory letter to Famuyibo on his last day in office as the worst Youth Commissioner in Ekiti State so as to perfect his plans .

We want to state categorically that the youth are aggrieved and we will mobilize across the state to frustrate the Ministry of Youth alongside security operatives in the state until Awopetu and Alhaji Ganiyu are exposed.

Sir, we are youth and we are scientific, we will engage the government until our interest is restored. We will ask strategic and fundamental questions from the failed Commissioner. We will not allow Ido/Osi election result in the responsible Ekiti under your watch.
