Osun ADC Governorship Candidate, Najeem Salaam Advocate Moral, Educational Foundations In Islamic Education

The Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and the former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam has advocated for a deeper islamic education in the State. 

Dr Najeem stated the above after witnessing the 10th Haflah and the launch of the N250 million ultra-modern Madrasah building project at MESN Markazul-Amaanah for Arabic and Islamic Studies, located at the MSSN Central Mosque, Apoun, Asubiaro, Osogbo.

Earlier at the event, Dr. Salaam called on the administrators and leaders of the Islamic school to intensify their teaching efforts towards maximizing positive impact on students and the wider community. 

He emphasized the critical role of quality, dedicated education in shaping morally upright and knowledgeable future generations, particularly in religious and Arabic studies.

Dr. Salaam also declared his full solidarity with the institution, stating that he is now part of them and will continue to provide ongoing support to advance their noble mission.

The event drew attendance from key ADC stalwarts, including IWALOYE Campaign Director General Segun Olanibi, former Osogbo Local Government Chairman Hakeem Olaoye, Dr. Jide Zubair, Dr. Adigun, Hon. Francis Famurewa, Engr. Kazeem Salaam, among others.

Dr. Salaam’s advice to Muslim school administrators highlights his commitment to education as a cornerstone of societal development, calling for intensified, impactful teaching to nurture well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to Osun State and beyond. 

He also aligned with the broader vision for inclusive progress under the ADC platform ahead of the 2026 governorship poll.
