Osun: Adeleke Approves Reconstitution Of Football Management Team

… Charges Appointees To Justify Their Appointments

The Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has approved the reconstitution of the Osun State Football Management Team with a charge to them to justify their appointments by enhancing the performances of the Football Teams among the other teams in the Country and beyond.

The Governor’s Deputy, His Excellency, Mr Kola Adewusi, who also doubles as the Commissioner for Sports in Osun State while speaking through his Press Secretary, Mr. Goke Awoyemi, who signed the press release containing the lists of the new appointees, announced the dissolution of the previous Interim Committees of Osun Babes and that of its Osun United counterparts. 

The Press Secretary, Mr. Goke Awoyemi to the Deputy Governor of Osun State, named Akin Maxwell as the new Chairman for the Osun State United Football Club while others include Abimbola Rufus who is to serve as the Community Relations Manager, Femi Okenla will be in charge of the Marketing and Communication, Kabiru Adekunle will be the Team Manager and Oyewole Opeyemi will serve as the Secretary. 

Awoyemi revealed that, for the Osun Babes Football Club, Mrs. Tola Usman is the new Chairperson, Wole Animasahun is the new Team Manager while Mrs. Ronke Ogunbanwo will be the new Secretary. 

He listed the composition of the Osun State Coaches to include: Seye Ajayi – Chief Coach, Sina Afolabi – Assistant Coach 1, Waheed Olapade – Assistant Coach II, Lateef Yusuf – Goalkeeper Coach, Seyi Akanni – Medical Officer as well as Akeem Adebayo Megba – Welfare Officer.
