Osun APC Alleges Governor Adeleke Of Using PDP Hoodlums To Murder Party Members

… Urges President Tinubu To Intervene

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State have condemned the alleged killings of its party members by hoodlums loyal to Governor Ademola Adeleke and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). 

The APC claims that Governor Adeleke have refused to obey a court order reinstating sacked APC elected council Chairmen and Councillors, leading to a breakdown of law and order in the State.

At a press conference in Osogbo, APC leaders, including the State Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal and the Executive Director of the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye, alleged that Governor Adeleke’s administration has unleashed violence on the state, resulting in the deaths of several party members, including the elected Chairman of Irewole Local Government Area, Hon. Remi Abass.

The APC have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Inspector General of Police, and the Attorney General of the Federation to intervene and restore order in the state. 

They also demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible for the killings and the proscription of the Amotekun Corps, which they claim has been hijacked by PDP thugs.

The APC leadership has vowed to continue to occupy their offices, despite the violence and intimidation, and have called on traditional rulers to intervene and call the State government to order. The situation in Osun State remains tense, with fears of further violence and instability.
