A 25 years old man named Oyinlola Wasiu who hailed from Osun State and lives in Ikere Ekiti has been nabbed for burgling a house in Ado Ekiti and stealing a sum of N100,000.

In a press release issued on Tuesday morning by the Head of the Communication Department of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, Adeleye Abiodun explained that the incidence occurred on Monday, 9th of September, 2024.
According to Adeleye, the Head of the Communication Department for the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, he said, “the victim of the crime, one Mrs Mary John, an indigene of Benue State, who resides at Isato Oke in Ado Ekiti, explained that the suspect, Oyinlola Wasiu burgled her room and carted away her phone and money totaling the sum of N100,000”.
Also, Adeleye revealed that, “a revelation giving by an eyewitness, one Mr. Ojo Kunle, the victim’s neighbour threw everybody into a shock as the suspect was found inside a vacant apartment of the house where he confessed to have slept overnight in the house”.
Adding, Adeleye also added that the suspect has been handed over to the Rapid Response Squad Unit of the Ekiti State Police Command in Ado-Ekiti for further investigation after the Ekiti Amotekun Corps profiled the burglar.
