Osun: Oluomo of Ejigbo, Najeem Salaam Hails Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola At 75

The Oluomo of Ejigbo in Osun State, Dr Najeem Salaam has hailed the former State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola on his 75 years birthday on earth. 

In a birthday message conveyed to the celebrant through a letter personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday, Dr Najeem Salaam, congratulated the former Osun State Governor and retired military officer, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola on the celebration of his 75th birthday, which earned him warm tributes from the political leaders, associates and admirers.

Najeem, in his letter, described Ex-Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola as a patriot, leader, and elder statesman.

According to Dr Najeem, he also described Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, a one-time military administrator and civilian governor of Osun State, as a man who has devoted decades in public service, marked by discipline, courage, and commitment to national development. 

Dr Najeem recalled in his letter how Prince Olagunsoye’s leadership journey shaped his royal background, strengthened his military training and earned him respect across political and traditional institutions in the State and the Country at large.

Salaam praised the former governor’s contributions to governance, peace, and community development, noting that his impact continues to resonate within Osun State and across Nigeria. 

He said Oyinlola’s life of service remains a source of inspiration to younger generations.

Oyinlola’s tenure in public office featured efforts aimed at promoting stability and inclusive governance, while his post-office years have been defined by mentorship and counsel on national issues.

Dr. Salaam prayed for continued good health, renewed wisdom, and strength for the elder statesman as he marks another year, expressing hope that his legacy of service will continue to inspire the nation.
