The Osun State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Sunday Bisi has commended former party chairmen in the state for their commitment, steadfastness and loyalty to the party during difficult times.

He made this known in Ede at a programme organized by the former chairmen of the party in 30 local government areas, including Ife-East Area Office, Modakeke.
According to him, the party chairmen stood firm with the party when the situation was tough and needed most. I knew that I visited all of them to discuss party matters and they showed their unwavering support for struggle to liberate Osun from the hands of the impostors.
“The result for loyalty is what they are reaping today. I commend you for this. Though, there may be differences but you stood your ground and support for the party. We used to relate together as party chairmen and brothers in the project of changing Osun for better”, Bisi said.
The party chairman, therefore urged present party chairmen and other party members to emulate them, saying there is reward for steadfastness and loyalty.

Bisi said most of the former party chairmen have been appointed as Special Adviser, Caretaker chairmen, among others.
He appreciated the former party chairmen for organizing and gathering themselves together to discuss state of the party in the state and x-ray their activities in the past and present.
While speaking at the event, Hon. Durojaye Isaac, Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperative and Empowerment, commended Dr. Deji Adeleke for always stood behind them, describing him as a man who cherishes and keeps to his words.

Recall that the group is an association of former party chairmen in the state.
The group commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for the good job done in developing the state, adding that the Governor within a year has changed face of governance and people have been enjoying dividends of democracy.
Similarly, the state chairman of the party, Hon. Sunday Bisi used the occasion to call on Governor Ademola Adeleke to contest for second term in office to enable him finish the good projects he embarked upon, stressing that Osun people would continue to support him to deliver on his mandate.

The group unanimously agreed to support the governor for second term in office.
