Oyebanji’s Supporter Obtain Loan To Buy, Brand Campaign Bus

An ardent supporter of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State, by the name Adeniyi Adeyemi Adeleye, who drives a mini truck to carry planks from BAO Timber Market located at Adewusi in Ado Ekiti, from where he earned his living has reportedly obtained a loan with monthly interest to buy and brand a space bus, donating same for the Governor’s campaign activities. 

When asked for his reason, Adeniyi Adeyemi Adeleye stated that he was convinced that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji deserves a second term in office considering his developmental achievements across  Ekiti State.

Adeleye disclosed this on Thursday while unveiling the branded vehicle at BAO TIMBER MARKET, Ado-Ekiti 

Adeleye explained that his gesture was borne out of appreciation for Governor Oyebanji’s people-oriented programmes in Ekiti State. 

According to him, the performance of the governor Oyebanji’s policies and programmes have positively impacted key sectors and improved the welfare of residents.

Explaining his motivation, Adeniyi said the decision to invest his personal resources in support of the governor was driven by conviction rather than convenience.

“Despite my struggling condition as a mini truck driver, I felt compelled to support a leader who has done well in all sectors of administration. 

“The masses are happy with the quality of governance in Ekiti. If we all support him for another four years, he will consolidate on the achievements of his first term for the greater good of Ekiti people,” he said.

Adeniyi further explained the financial sacrifices behind the project, revealing that determination and personal savings made it possible. 

He said he conceived the idea last year but had no immediate funds to execute it.

“I started saving from my meagre income, but when I realised it wouldn’t be enough, I took an online loan to complete the project, with the firm belief that I would repay it in no distant time,” he explained.

He disclosed that the vehicle cost ₦3 million, adding that he saved ₦1,400,000 and borrowed ₦1.6 million with a monthly interest of #302,000 to complete the purchase ahead of the commencement of political campaigns.

The transporter added that the branded vehicle would be deployed to mobilise support for Governor Oyebanji across the 16 local government areas of the state.

“This vehicle will be used to campaign across the nooks and crannies of Ekiti State. I am ready to propagate the good news to everyone, including opposition voters. 

“The governor’s achievements are visible for the blind to see and loud enough for the deaf to hear,” Adeniyi declared.

Expressing confidence in the governor’s re-election, he predicted a sweeping victory at the polls, saying Governor Oyebanji would win all local government areas by a landslide margin.

Adeniyi applauded the leadership style of Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and Comrade Sunday Asefon, saying the duo are leaders of repute who impact lives and prioritized citizens welfare.
