Pandemonium In Ondo Community As Greedy Wife Kills Husband

Pandemonium broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning at Akungba Akoko area of Ondo State when a woman by the name Omolara Jamiu maimed her husband, Seidu Jamiu to death with a pestle over her unfounded allegations of extra marital affairs against him. 

Omolara Jamiu, a middle aged woman was reported to have hit her husband with a pestle on the head while he was far asleep in their house because of her husband’s supposedly secret lover popularly known as ‘Sidechic’. 

Findings from an Elderly man who resides at Ibaka Community of Akungba Akoko and the Seriki Musulumi showed that some residents of the town raised an alarm when they discovered the body of Seidu Jamiu inside the pool of his blood. 

Another resident of the town, Chief Awesu revealed that, upon the discovery of Seidu Jamiu’s body, he was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. 

Policemen in Akungba Akoko has however arrested the Wife, Omolara Jamiu and her case file transferred to the Police Headquarters in Akure. 

When newsmen visited the home of the couple in Akungba, many sympathizers were seeing in the area with some of them describing the late Seidu Jamiu as a nice person who took care of the wife to the best of his ability to the extent of buying her a car and building a house.
