Pastor Speaks Out On Masturbation Says it’s Abuse of God’s Natural Plan

Pastor Benjamin Afolabi, Presiding Pastor of Voice of the Cross Fellowship Mission in Ado Ekiti, has shared his thoughts on masturbation, describing it as an abuse of God’s natural plan.

In an interview with Pastor Benjamin Afolabi by Treasure Newspaper immediately after the Church Service, stated that masturbation is a result of various factors, including late marriage, satanic attack, and addiction to pornography.

The Pastor emphasized that while a person may be tempted to masturbate, especially in situations where a spouse denies sexual intimacy, it is not a solution and it can lead to sin.

He advised couples to find lasting solutions to marital issues rather than resorting to self-gratification.

Pastor Afolabi also highlighted the importance of spiritual deliverance for those struggling with masturbation, advising that individuals should seek help from mature Christian leaders who will lead them to pray for freedom from such bondage.

In addition to addressing masturbation, Pastor Afolabi explained in his sermon which centres on redemption, and emphasized how God’s plan can save the humanity from sin and bondage.

He encouraged believers to cry out to God in times of hardship and trust in His power to deliver and heal them.

When asked about wilderness experiences, Pastor Afolabi described it as a time of testing and trial, where God refines one’s character and faith.

He assured believers that passing through wilderness experiences can lead to personal growth and a stronger faith.

Equally, Pastor Benjamin during the Sunday Service highlighted four major preparations steps a believer can follow to become successful in life. These includes Infantry Preparation, Royal Preparation, Educational Preparation and Priestly Preparation.

He also a defined awilderness as a period of testing and trial, and a time when the characters, patience and faithfulness of believers would be tested and stretched, most especially, in Marriages.
