Photo Speaks As Hardship Bites Harder Over Fuel Scarcity Just As Iyin / Igede Road Deserted 

Residents, road users and motorists plying Iyin to Igede Ekiti Road are at this period not having it good because of the scarcity of petrol and the exorbitant prices it is been sold in filling stations across Ekiti State and the Country at large.

Also, the people of Ekiti State are not having it very good at this time as they are not having it very good at all because of the economy hardship biting harder on them. 

Yesterday, Treasure Newspaper observed that the road linking Iyin to Igede Ekiti in Ekiti State was totally deserted for fear that the heavily loaded  falling petrol tanker on the road can explode if care and caution was not taken. 

Travellers plying the Igede Ekiti to connect Iyin and Ado Ekiti were basically stranded and forced to use legs to cross the spot where the falling petrol tanker fell. 

The Igede Ekiti community people who are mostly youths took over the road and barricaded it to prevent vehicles coming from the two sides ways of Aramoko and Ado Ekiti from assessing the location where the falling petrol tanker fell. 

The truck of the Federal Fire Service and some of their officials were equally sighted very close to the falling petrol tanker at Igede Ekiti monitoring situations around it for possible action to avert disaster and havoc on the road.
