The Anambra State Police Command through it’s Operatives intensifying patrol and improving operational positioning to respond to distress calls in the State has been able to recover one abandoned black Mercedes 4Matic ML 350 Jeep with registration number RBC 527 AL, one AK47 Live Ammunition and some other criminal masks on 29/8/2022 at about 3pm along Amaokpala – Awogbu highway of Anambra State.
The information on the above recovery was made available to the Treasure Newspaper on Tuesday morning by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Anambra State Police Command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu.

Speaking further, the Anambra State PPRO, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu stated that, “preliminary information has showed that the vehicle was suspected to have been snatched by criminal elements who had an accident on their way to a yet to be identified location. The Armed robbers abandon the vehicle inside a gutter and fled the scene”.
Meanwhile, Police Operatives have intensify patrol in the area aimed at apprehending the criminal elements. The Command also invites anyone or group looking for such vehicle as highlighted above, to come to Anambra State Police Command in Awka, with a valid proof and evidence of ownership for scrutiny and possible collection.
