A retired Local Government Staff has cried out for help, seeking justice for himself over his only house built with his own sweet and sold by his wife and other cronnies without consent on the grounds that he has insanity.

Addressing journalists earlier on Monday at the Ekiti State Secretariat located at the Okebareke in Ado Ekiti, the victim of the oppression, one Mr Fabunmi Amos Olukayode, while speaking called out on the Ekiti State Government, Non Governmental Organizations, Human Rights Organizations, the Nigeria Bar Association, Security Agencies, the Justice and Peace Development Initiatives and others to come his rescue without before it is too late.

Mr Fabunmi, a retired staff from Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, in his further request, solicited for the support of the above organizations towards ensuring his property (house), a four bedroom flat sited at Otun Ekiti, which was forcefully and illegally acquired by his estranged wife, Mrs Fabunmi Tope Monisola Olukayode, in the Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State is retrieved for him.

He explained that one Chief Afolabi Oluwole Olokoju and Pastor Dr Fabunmi Joseph Ireti, who are strong members of his father’s family, on the 4th of May, 2024 at the Palace of the Kabiyesi, the Alaaye Oke Ayedun Ekiti revealed that his former wife had sold his house without tendering any evidence.

He lamented about his sojourn on earth as frustrating describing his condition as pathetic, which may eventually lead to  death, adding that his ex-wife, in connivance with a clergyman and a Chief (names withheld) might have sold his house he spent his youthful days to buy at Otun-Ekiti on the grounds that he is suffering from insanity.

He also revealed that the statements made by the two strongmen at the Palace, stated that one Chief Afolabi Oluwole Olokoju and Pastor Dr Fabunmi Joseph Ireti both prevailed on one Chief Jaiyeoba Obaisa to withdraw his signature on every document the Chief had earlier signed for him, with the motive to discredit the concrete evidences provided for him and children by Chief jayeoba Obaisa, which he had used to secure victory for his property.

Fabunmi expressed his worry on the decision by the Oore – in – Council that he and his children had been barred from Otun Ekiti.

Meanwhile, reactions from the alleged  two strongmen in a separate interviews deny the allegations levelled against him by Mr Fabunmi, stating that they only Intervened to ensure that the disagreement is resolved for the family to live together in peace.
