Security Situation In Ekiti State Becoming Alarming As Ado Ekiti Metropolis Under Threat

It is very expedient is to inform the general public especially security agencies that the rate at which burglars, robbers, house breakers are operating in Ekiti State have gone out of hands and now at alarming rate.

In a statement signed by the Acting National coordinator, Ekiti Renaissance Movement Mr Francis Ogunrotila revealed that the demolition of houses carried out at Atikankan, (a good one), which hitherto served as dens of street urchins and all sorts of criminalities have pushed these criminals to various streets and communities within Ado Ekiti metropolis. 

These sets of criminals have turned Ado Ekiti to an insecured place to live, hardly a day passes without recording cases of house breaking and other criminalities with dare devil approach.

The statement admonished His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Honourable Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who is the Chief Security Officer of the State should not treat these security breaches scenario with kid gloves. 

“Commissioner of police, Director SSS, State commandant Civil Defence among other sister security agencies should be alive to their responsibilities” . 

The statement warned that a stitch in time saves nine!!! Especially during this  yuletide period. 

 “There is insecurity and hunger in the land!!”, the statement opined.
