The lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Natasha Akpoti – Uduaghan on Tuesday stormed the National Assembly complex in Abuja, in the company of the human rights activist, Comrade Aisha Yesufu and others, in her effort to resume duties following her recent suspension.

It would be recalled that Senator Akpoti – Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central,  was suspended by the Senate earlier this year over alleged misconduct and was directed to issue a written apology.

However, a recent court ruling nullified her suspension, clearing the way for her return to the Senate.

Her arrival, alongside Aisha Yesufu, comes amid heightened scrutiny of legislative actions and the rights of elected officials.
