Seun Kuti Reacts To Arrest Order From IGP … Says He Welcomes Police Investigation

Seun Kuti, the late Fela Anikulapo’s Son and popular Afrobeat artist has reacted to the order given by the Inspector General of Police that he should be arrested over an alleged assault on a Police Officer.
Earlier on Saturday, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, directed the Honourable Commissioner of Police in the Lagos State Police Command, Mr. Idowu Owohunwa to ensure the arrest and prosecution of the Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti following his assault on a police operative while on uniform in a viral video on the social media.
In a reaction to the order via his Instastory on Saturday night, Kuti said “he welcomed the investigation”.
He wrote, “I welcome the investigation and will give my full cooperation! I also pray to the IGP that whoever is indicted should be prosecuted”.
