The staffs of Somic Jok Investment Limited in Efon Alaaye, has cried out over the loss of the Multi-Million Naira Warehouse as a result of the heavy rainfall experienced in the ancient town recently. 

The staffs (names withheld) in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Monday, recounted their experience at the sudden loss of the lifetime investment where several hundreds of electricity poles were equally destroyed by the heavy rainstorm that swept around the Efon Alaaye Community. 

Meanwhile, informations made available to Treasure Newspaper by eyewitnesses revealed how rainstorm swept off the newly constructed warehouse owned by Somic Jok Investment Limited located at the popular Orita – Babalola Junction in Efon Alaaye. 

Investigations also revealed that many houses were washed away including the newly built bungalow belonging to a widow and located at the Babalola area along Iwaji road.

Also, affected by the same rainstorms includes the Apostolic Faith Primary School at Oniyo, Idagba, Inisa, Ojodi as well as Ukagbe areas of Efon Alaaye. Electricity poles supplying electricity to major parts of the community were equally damaged beyond repair. 

In an interaction with Treasure Newspaper, after inspecting the extent of damage done to properties and to that of the others, some of the staffs (names withheld) of Somic Jok Investment Limited, were almost shedding tears after expressing their sadness on the situation.

They however called on the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to come to his aide to repair his warehouse and that of many Efon Alaaye residences such as Schools, Churches, and damaged electricity poles affected by the heavy rainstorm.
