Tinubu 2027 Campaign Billboard Surfaces In Abuja Creating Awareness Ahead

A considerably large billboard showing the picture of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and wife, Senator Remi Tinubu have surfaced along the busy Area 1 at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, showing some campaign materials for 2027 Presidential ambition. 

A source who confided revealed that the sudden appearance of the said billboard have since been generating 

controversies from various people such as commuters, passers by and others plying the road. 

Interactions with commuters prompted them to express their disappointments in reference to the President’s ambition, neglecting the present economic challenges of the nation and focusing on re-election in 2027. This has caused discussion among people. 

The billboard, which consists picture of Tinubu and his wife, read “Grassroot Support  for Tinubu 2027”. 

The development comes even though the President has not made any official announcement about running for second term. 

Since it’s emergence 16 months ago. Tinubu’s tenure has brought a mix of experiences for many Nigerians, specifically fuel subsidy removal and the floating of national currency. 

These policies have been associated with widespread economic hardship leading to  increase in the rate of poverty in the country. 

However, calls to Special Adviser to the President on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, were not responded to.
