Tinubu Appoints New Head Of Service Of The Federation 

… Charges Her To Introduce Innovation, Promote Integrity

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a new Head of Service of the Federation, with a charge to her to introduce innovations and promotes integrity in the Civil Service. 

Following the current Head of Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi – Esan, CFR, that will retire on the 13th of August, 2024; a new Head of Service of the Federation was today appointed by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The new appointee for the position of the Head of Service of the Federation is  Mrs Didi Esther Walson -Jack, OON.

According to the official statement made available online by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, he revealed that, “the appointment of the new Head of Service of the Federation will take effect

from the 14th of August, 2024″.

Ngelale added “that Mrs. Walson-Jack was appointed as Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has served in several Ministries.

“The new appointee will take over from the incumbent Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, who is due to retire on August 13, 2024”.

President Tinubu, while thanking the outgoing Head of Service for her stewardship, tasks the incoming Head of Service to discharge her duties with innovative flair, integrity, and stringent adherence to the extant rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.
