The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Reps), Hon. Ibraheem Kunle Olarewaju, has called for a mass All Progressives Congress registrations in Ekiti State.
He also expressed the desire for the strengthening of the party as well as the deepening of democracy.
Adding, he urged members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the country who are yet to formally register with the party to do so, describing the party registration as a fundamental pillar of political participation and democratic consolidation.
Hon. Olarewaju emphasized that the APC, as the ruling party, continues to pursue progressive ideals centered on good governance, accountability, national unity, and inclusive development.

He noted that a robust and well-organized membership base is essential for sustaining these ideals and strengthening the party’s institutional capacity at all levels.
According to him, formal registration provides members with a legitimate platform to engage meaningfully in party affairs, contribute to policy discourse, and participate actively in internal democratic processes, including decision-making and leadership selection.
“Party registration is not merely an administrative exercise; it is a demonstration of commitment to democratic values and progressive governance. It ensures that members are recognized, represented, and empowered to contribute to the growth and stability of the party,” Hon. Olarewaju stated.

The presidential aide further noted that accurate membership data enhances effective planning, coordination, and mobilization, especially at the grassroots level where the strength of any political party is rooted.
He stressed that increased participation by youths, professionals, women, and first-time political actors would further energize the party and deepen democratic engagement nationwide.
Hon. Olarewaju commended the efforts of party leaders, ward executives, and stakeholders who have continued to mobilize and sensitize supporters through both physical and digital platforms, urging them to intensify these efforts to ensure that no willing supporter is left unregistered.

While calling for increased registration, Hon. Olarewaju appealed to APC members to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and united, stressing that internal cohesion and mutual respect remain key to sustaining the party’s leadership role and national relevance.
He expressed confidence that with sustained mobilization and inclusive participation, the APC would continue to consolidate its position as a progressive force capable of driving Nigeria’s democratic and socio-economic advancement.
