Top APC Leader Canvasses Support For Aiyedatiwa’s 7-Point Agenda Tagged ‘Our Ease’

A prominent APC leader, Dr Adu Olumuyiwa popularly known as CUBANA has canvassed the people of Ondo State on the need for them to support Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s 7-point agenda tagged ‘Our Ease’ to enable them feel the impact of his administration in the State.

The Akure-born politician gave the advice while fielding questions from Treasure Newspaper at his Countryhome, Akure on Wednesday.

During the questions and answers session, Dr Adu Olumuyiwa appealed to residents of Ondo State to relax and allow the newly sworn-in Governor and his Deputy to implement and translate their 7-point agenda tagged ‘Our Ease’ into a laudable programmes, infrastructural development and social welfare that would help to build capacities and transform lives of the people of the State.

According to Dr Adu Olumuyiwa, “I have no doubt about whether Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami will do well or not do well”. He described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a technocrat who had no reason not to do well, considering his calm nature, prudent lifestyle, his passion for humanities, and a calculative goal-getter and achiever.

Adu went on to assure the people of Ondo State to be prepared to get the best of governance from him, considering his qualities and the product he was made of. He also urged them to rate him through the infrastructure-drive he had started in the State.

He however appealed to those who would always like to criticize to exercise restrain, and allow him breathe and be focused in a bid for him to deliver on his mandate and electioneering campaigns to the people of the State without distractions.

In his words, “it is not enough for people to think that the only contribution for them to make is to criticize, when in actual fact, there is no room for such”.

Continuing, he said, “if somebody feel he is doing something good, and you think it is not good, probably feeling that a wrong step has been taken, such people needs to realize and understand that there is always a room for continuous improvement in whatever one sets out to do”.

He urged the people of Ondo State to join him in promoting and supporting his 7-point agenda tagged ‘Our Ease’, by allowing him to implement his policy direction and strategies for his administration before their criticism of him will start.

He equally advised the Ondo State residents to take time to study the working document he has developed for himself to work with.

“There is no reason for people to start finding errors or faults in his programmes for education, water resources, and infrastructure, among others.

“The needs of the people of Ondo State will be better placed and prioritized if they do less of criticisms.”

The APC stalwart, however, expressed his readiness to support and contribute his own quota to the success of the present administration in the State. He also described the Governor as God’s gift to the people of Ondo State.

Adu also expressed his readiness to make it a point of duty to always pray for the Governor to succeed in his task of bringing development and advancing and ensuring the welfare of the people of Ondo State are well taking care of.
