The current Honourable Minister of Works, Engineer Senator David Nweze Umahi under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the former Governor of Ebonyi State for 8 years has alleged the former Governor of Rivers State, and the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, in Abuja, Barrister Nyesom Wike of packing public funds in Rivers State.

The Minister of Works, Engineer Senator David Nweze Umahi in a live AIT video in circulation online, also challenged the former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike to a public debate on their achievements while in office as Governors.

According to David Umahi, in a live AIT video, said, “see what this Wike is telling me. I held him on Channels Television boasting that he is behind everything going on in Rivers State, that he is the main man. Someone who depends on the breathe of God. I pity him. I pity illiteracy. Its a shame.

“You are boasting to remove another Governor. What qualifies you? Just because you are packing money that is public funds. Not your own intellectual material. You are just packing money from Public Funds and you are boasting about it.

“Otherwise who were you? I became a billionaire at the age of 25. I have worked all my life and I have asked him to come for public debate.

“I did not commission 3.4 kilometres road. I commissioned 35 kilometres roads.

“I commissioned twin fly Overs running to 1 kilometres. I commissioned Mega projects with little resources. So, if he says he has done well, and he is Mr this or that, let him come for a public debate with me.

“Let’s start with our childhood. You know, so, I am not disturbed”, he ended.
