The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has charged Damilola Adeparusi, an Ekiti born Chef, to remain focused and determined as she embarked on a 120-hour cooking marathon target in Ekiti State. 

Adeparusi who is currently cooking from, Ilupeju Ekiti, in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State is set to break Chef Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the Secretary, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi advised her not to be distracted nor relent but focus on clinching on the medal.

Comrade Ojomoyela and Comrade Babatuyi affirmed that Adeparusi should be ready to proof to the world the spirit of hard work and resilience which Ekiti is known for.
