If all the activities in the office of a governor are being attended to by not his deputy but the head servant in his office, such governor is either not brainy or very lazy. Government is not a hobby for lazy or a lie-crafty dudes but demands a high energy level and mental sapping stuff.

I knew a Governor that I participated in his administration that it was difficult for those of us that were his aides to predict when he went to bed. He worked day and night! Beyond midnight this Governor while in office would be responding to messages and treating files right in his office.
Today in the same Ekiti State, we have an itinerary Governor that is always on the road far away from his duty post. With his “Home Based” mentality, which to a reasonable extent, manifests as his greatest strength which he shows whenever he lays on ground to greet elders.
A sitting governor who is always absence at his duty post, is either shot of ideas or too lazy to engage his cabinet in robust synergy towards creating new and higher direction in government that will elicit innovative benefits for our dear State.
Our Governor has created a niche for himself and has a fixed daily routine which revolves around visitation to old friends, paying homage to his primary school teachers or another man he knew in his dreams.

How can a sitting governor has more idle time than an unemployed people? The jargon that says time is money has no meaning to this Governor. Among his new found friends that deserve a visit are his tailor, nanny, his primary school herbalist, his wristwatch repairer and other of his low level early mates prior to his gift of the Governor’s seat of Ekiti State.
If victory brings to us all sorts of ache to the extent that a sitting governor can become so desperate in pursuant of second term without any tangible physical or intangible assets to show for his uninspiring first term. Now our Governor has taking his lie-craft to higher level, he pounces on every semblance of positive images of noble people to deceive Ekiti people.
Unfortunately for our governor Ekiti people aren’t local people, we are versatile in every walk of life and more ready to probe every step of our governor in other not to lose sight on our resolve to bring on board a highly industrious and competent person to unseat the present governor who has refused to stay in his duty post.

The latest noble image that our itinerary Governor is exploiting now is that of our reputable former governor, Chief (Engr.) Segun Oni. This gentleman booked appointment to see Mr. President on matters known to only him. After spending 5 days in Abuja, Chief Segun Oni got nod to come to Aso Rock yesterday which coincided with Federal Executive Council Meeting.
After the meeting between our noble Chief Segun Oni and PBAT, our itinerary Governor pounced on the presence of Chief Segun Oni and forced a photoshoot session. It will be wise to ask Mr. Governor if he attended the meeting between Chief Segun Oni and PBAT. We await the next move of our itinerary Governor.
To Ekiti people, time is up and a new government is due in Ekiti come October 16th, 2026. This is the will and verdict of Almighty God.Take that to bank. No amount of endorsement or addiction to marabout will safe the present governor from vacating Oke Ayoba in October next year.

Ekiti State is not jinxed but unfortunate to have people with little capacity to lead a local government as governors. Change is Sacrosanct and inevitable! Ten thousand of photoshoots with public leaders with intention to fool Ekiti people will not enough to diffuse reality, rather, it further inflamed it.
So many flaws are too many to mention in BAO led government which aren’t palatable. BAO makes himself incommunicado to his cabinet members, he leaves the works of his office to his PS who is more concern with pilfering of Ekiti Commonwealth than filling the void created by frequent absence of Mr. Governor in his duty post.
BAO behaves as if he owns Ekiti State and his Commonwealth and he behaves to type.

EKiti need infrastructure growth and development. We need good roads not a bridge to nowhere. If Ekiti could have pipe borne water right in the 1970s with working 5 dams, follower by $250m? of World Bank funds for water project in a government where BAO was SSG and closed to three years in his own government, yet, the pipes are still very dry!
All intra and inter roads are in worrisome state, while funds flow steadily like never into Ekiti, Ekiti never deserve the decay she in now. My candid 10K advice is for progressive Ekiti politicians to stay calm, focus and expectant, a new dawn is here!
