A media report published by an Online news medium (name withheld) against the former TAMPAN Governor in Ekiti State, Mr Eniola Ehinafe has been urged to be disregarded by TAMPAN AGBAJOWO caucus of the Association, describing the allegations as wide and politically motivated one.

The TAMPAN AGBAJOWO caucus in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Monday, and signed by Mr Segun Asimiyu, called on Ekiti people to disregard the online publication targeted at tarnishing the good image of their leader and dismissed the allegations in it’s entirety, revealing it was a politically motivated one carried out by the close friends of the current Ekiti State TAMPAN Governor, Dada Sunkanmi whose election contravened the provisions of TAMPAN’s Constitution.

According to the caucus, since the inception of TAMPAN as a Nation Organization, Comrade Ehinafe Eniola has been the best State Secretary, Governor and National Liaison Officer appointed by the Current Tampan President, Mr Bolaji Amusan. Adding, the caucus said, Mr Ehinafe Eniola’s time as TAMPAN Governor in Ekiti State is second to none.

The caucus described the fake publication as a product of conspiracy and hatred against a man they are proud of, and held in high esteem.

Querying further, the caucus asked: “who is afraid of the fame and accolades being poured on Ehinafe Eniola?

Pointing out, the caucus said, ever since a fake election was conducted behind Comrade Ehinafe Eniola, when he was asked to resign by force together with some of his State Executives who held on to the provisions of the TAMPAN’s constitution, and refused to compromise by giving in to manipulation from his rivals in the Association.

Unknown to Mr Ehinafe Eniola, his continuous philanthropic assistance to members has been given his rivals and enemies sleepless night, running from pillar to post and being jittery about him coming back. Hence they resulted into blackmail to smear his good name and image to prevent him from returning as the Ekiti TAMPAN Governor, and realizing that they can’t match his achievements while in office.

The caucus also accused Ehinafe Eniola’s political enemies of sponsoring some members to carry placards against their boss at the National but the President, Mr Bolaji Amusan rebuffed them and lectured them on constitutional provisions.

“As a matter of fact, we would have ignored the said fake publication against our boss, Mr Ehinafe Eniola and considered it as rantings of a shadow chaser but to put the innocent Ekiti people in the right perspective, we have decided to set the record straight and exposed the hidden truth”.

Reeling out the achievements of Mr Ehinafe Eniola, the caucus reminded the accusers how Comrade Ehinafe Eniola led the National Delegation to Mama Esther Ajayi in Lagos, which prompted her to donate the sum of N10 million to the Association.

They also reminded them how he initiated and influenced the sum of N5 million donation to some group members from an Honourable Minister.

The caucus also recalled how Mr Ehinafe Eniola influenced the sum of N2.5 million donations to the Association for the healthcare programme of TAMPAN which was shared among members in the State, rented a new State office and furnished it but sadly, as at today, TAMPAN no longer have any single office after the expiration of the 2 years rent Eniola paid.

Dispelling the doubts on the issue of the said loan fraud allegations raised, the caucus berated the sponsors of the malicious report for deny the public every necessary information they should know in respect of the 50 people who filled forms for loan with Mustard Organization on their own accord, which was turned down, and disapproved, because collateral were not provided to secure the said loan in question.

The caucus went on to describe the four members who are private friends of the current Administrator had collected close close to one million Naira from Mustard Seed Organization without the knowledge of Comrade Eniola.

However, the Ekiti TAMPAN caucus said they are already warming up to sue the said publication for defamation of character if it fails to retrace steps and publicly issue an apology.
