New Ekiti CP Resumes, Read Riot Acts To Criminals

The newly Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Michael Adegoroye Falade has read out the riot acts to criminals on his arrival at the Police State Command headquarters in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State Capital on Monday. 

While addressing the pressmen in his office, CP Michael Falade promised to  prioritize the security of lives and properties of all the residents of the State, in collaboration with his team, other sister agencies, and relevant stakeholders.

He equally pledged to create an atmosphere where everyone can sleep peacefully and go about their lawful activities without fear or threat. 

He used the opportunity to call for information from the members of the public to help his Command achieve an intelligence-led policing, visibility policing, raids on criminal hideouts, bush combing operations, and other crime prevention measures.

Speaking further, he also pledged to prioritize the welfare and rights of all the Police officers under his Command, urging them to be diligent, professional, firm but approachable, avoid violations of citizens’ rights, and all forms of corrupt practices.

In his submission, the new Commissioner of Police, CP Michael Falade equally promised to ensure that the principle of the rule of law and respect for human rights prevails under his own leadership and administration, adding that there will be no violation of human rights by any of his officers or citizens will be allowed.
