SWEGOP Lauds Oladele’s, Falade’s Appointments, Says It Affirms Value of Media Professionals in Governance

The South-West Guild of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) has lauded the appointments of its Chairman, Mr. Bisi Oladele, and Vice Chairman, Mr. Dapo Falade, in Oyo State, saying it affirms the value of media professionals in governance.
Mr. Oladele was recently named Director of Media and Publicity for the 2027 governorship campaign organisation of Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, while Mr. Falade was appointed as Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Information and Orientation.
In a congratulatory statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Remi Oladoye, the Guild described the appointments as well-deserved and a testament to the duo’s professional competence, dedication and immense contributions to journalism and public communication.
The association noted that the development further highlights the critical role of experienced media professionals in driving effective political communication and governance.
SWEGOP expressed confidence that both men will bring their wealth of experience, integrity and professionalism to bear on their new assignments while upholding the ethics of responsible journalism.
It wished them successful tenures and reiterated its commitment to fostering professionalism, credibility and unity among online publishers in the South-West.
