Zamfara Police Commissioner, CP Kolo Yusuf Visits Emir Of Anka, Seeks For Support, Collaborations

The Honourable Commissioner for Police In Zamfara State, CP Kolo Yusuf has visited the Emir of Anka to seek for his support and collaboration to tackle insecurity in the State.

SP Mohammed Shehu, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, for the Zamfara State Police Command in a press release signed and sent to the Treasure Newspaper assured of the readiness of the Zamfara State Police Command to sustain it’s commitment to end the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state.

Mohammed the stressed the resolve of the Command to strengthen the community policing strategy in fighting all forms of criminal activities in Zamfara State.

According to the press release, the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Kolo Yusuf psc, had earlier on Wednesday morning visited His Royal Highness, the Emir of Anka and Chairman Zamfara State Council of chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Mohammed Ahmad CON, at his Palace in Anka to familiarized himself with the Traditional Rulers as major stakeholders in combating activities of criminal elements across the state, so that both can be on the same page for effective service delivery.

While at the Emir’s Palace, the Commissioner of Police thanked His Royal Highness for his unalloyed support and collaboration with the Police and other security agencies.

He went on assure the Emir for the Command’s tireless commitment to end the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state for over a decade.

On his part, the Emir of Zamfara, commends the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba, for posting CP Kolo Yusuf to Zamfara whose track records have been testified by all and sundry.

The Emir while responding further pledges for more support and cooperation to the CP and all the security agencies by extension, to enable them achieve the mandate of safeguarding lives and property of the citizens of the State.

The Commissioner of Police was accompanied by the DC Operations, DCP Dauda Mamman, Commanding Officers 42/78 PMF Squadrons, Commander CTU Base 18 Gusau among others.
