Bar Leader Congratulates Ibadan NBA Branch On 70th Anniversary

A leader of the Nigerian Bar Association in Nigeria, Barrister Foluke Dada-Lawanson has formally congratulated the Ibadan branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, popularly known as “The Premier Branch” on its 70th anniversary celebrations holding in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.

According to the congratulatory message personally signed by the renowned lawyer, Professor Foluke Dada-Lawanson, and made available to newsmen, she urged the distinguished members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan Branch, to see their 70th Anniversary celebrations as a great honour and profound admiration, as she extends her heartfelt felicitations to them on the momentous occasion.

Mrs Lawanson hailed the past few decades that the Ibadan illustrious branch has exemplified unwavering dedication to excellence, integrity, and innovation in the legal profession.

She also described the renowned Ibadan NBA Branch as a consistent and distinguished one, which had given birth to a lot of legal luminaries and become a beacon for professional leadership within and beyond Nigeria.

She went on to attest that since its establishment, “the branch has championed the cause of justice, fairness, and the rule of law, setting an enduring standard for others to emulate.

Continuing, Mrs Lawanson stated that “its legacy is adorned with groundbreaking contributions to legal practice and governance, as well as an unrelenting commitment to ethical standards. She gave a nod to the choice of this year’s theme titled: ‘Law, Legal Practice & Development’, which correctly reflects the branch’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the legal profession and advancing societal progress”.

She called on her colleagues to join the Ibadan branch to commemorate this historic milestone, and honor the contributions of past members whose vision and sacrifices laid the foundation for today’s successes, while celebrating the ongoing efforts of current members who continue to uphold the rich legacies.

In her submission, Mrs Lawanson expressed the hope that the NBA Ibadan branch will remain at the forefront of the legal excellence, innovation and transformative leadership in the Country.

She however prayed for the continuous remarkable achievements as the coming decades would no doubt brings more greater accomplishments to the fold of the Ibadan NBA Branch.
