RCCG Pastor Highlights Keys To Blessings In 2025

The Lead Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Legacy Parish, Pastor Ademola Ilesanmi, has urged Christians to commit their lives to God, trust in Him, and embrace wholehearted service as they navigate the new year.

Speaking on Sunday, January 5, 2024, after the church’s thanksgiving service held at its premises at the Federal Polytechnic Satellite Campus, Ilawe Road, Ado Ekiti, Pastor Ademola reflected on God’s faithfulness throughout the challenges of 2024.  

“Year 2024, things seemed to be hard due to the economic situation of the country, but despite all those things, the Lord was faithful and He was good to all of us. The Lord that has been with us since 2024 will continue to be with us in 2025, and He will continue to be our God in the new year,” he said.  

The thanksgiving service, described as an atmosphere of joy and celebration, saw members of the congregation—including youths and children—dressed in colorful attire as they sang, danced, and gave thanks to God for His faithfulness.  

Offering advice for the new year, Pastor Ademola cited Psalm 37:4 and encouraged Christians to trust God unwaveringly. “In this new year, we are to trust in the Lord, no matter your situation. Commit everything to His hand. Let us not look at those people the Bible called the wicked,” he admonished.

He added, “The Lord has promised to go before us and go with us into the year, and He’s going to make us experience good things. We are trusting Him because all He has promised will come to reality.”  

The pastor also emphasized the importance of prayer, patriotism, and personal responsibility. “If all of us as individuals should be good people, work for the good of the land, and be patriotic, that is when we will begin to experience what we wish for in the nation,” he stated.  

The RCCG Legacy Parish thanksgiving service marked the beginning of 2025 with optimism and a renewed commitment to faith and nation-building.
