Inter-Agency Relations: Zamfara CP Seeks Others Sister Agencies Support

Apparently, in a bid to improve and sustain the existing working synergy with other sister security agencies in Zamfara State, the Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Kolo Yusuf, has embarked on a visit to the Brigade Commander, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General C. A Baushe at the Headquarters of 1 Brigade, Gusau, the capital of the State.

According to a release sent to the Treasure Newspaper by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Zamfara State Command, Mr. Mohammed Shehu, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the inter-agency relations became necessary to improve security in the State.

Speaking during the visit, the CP in his remark appreciates the Brigade Commander for the warm reception and stated further that he was at the Brigade to familiarize himself with the Brigade Commander and other senior officers in the area.

He added that the two forces can sustain if on the same page, regarding fighting insecurity and other matters of national development. 

Responding, the Brigade Commander General C. A Baushe,  thanks the CP for the visit and also commends the good work he has started in the state since he assumed duty in State.

He called on him to sustain the tempo, however,  pledges more support and cooperation to the Police and other security agencies, saying the move would ensure a lasting peace restored back to the state.
