A Human Rights Activist, Comrade Dan Sabi, has lashed at the All Progressives Congress-led federal government for its woeful performance since its unsavory assumption of power in 2023.

Comrade Dan Sabi, the Secretary of the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights, Abuja Chapter in his Democracy Day message to Nigerians lamented the woes that the Tinubu-led Federal Government has brought on Nigerians.
President Tinubu carelessly removed subsidies upon assuming office, promising to utilize the funds from subsidies to improve the lives of Nigerians.
Despite the harsh manner it was done, Nigerians endured only to be disappointed by the government’s ineptitude and nonchalant attitude to the plight of the poor masses.
Nigerians are poorer and less secure after subsidy removal than they were before it’s removal. The situation is now worse with mindless borrowing making Nigerians wonder what is being done with the monies realized from the removal of subsidy.

People’s Gazette in 2025 even reported that Nigeria is now poorer than Sudan.
Some say it is the new poverty capital of the world.
President Bola Tinubu and his co-APC travelers also failed woefully on security. Killings in Jos, Benue, and other parts of the country due to banditry and criminal gangs are now a daily occurrence and there seems to be no concerted effort to curb the ugly trend.

Nigerians now live in fear not only for their precious lives but for their means of livelihood while the government gazes helplessly at their plight, inflicting one policy of hardship after another.
Due to failure to implement good electoral reforms, this anti-people administration now celebrates politicians decamping into their party as evidence of performance.
Against all clear statistics showing the degenerating state of the Nigerian economy.

Since Mr. President’s electoral ‘victory’ in 2023 was contested in court by most of the top contenders, one would expect sweeping electoral reforms to redeem his integrity.
Unfortunately, this government has sustained structures of mediocrity, political recklessness, and impunity, with no sign of electoral reform.
Nigerians are worse under Tinubu and he is a President without solution who has surpassed former President Buhari in incompetence.

As Nigerians, generally regret this administration, we call on the legislator to rise to the occasion and commence a possible impeachment due to abysmally poor performance and seeming disregard for Nigerians and democratic ethos.
Cases such as the suspension of an elected state governor, infiltration of opposition parties, disregard for federal character, and nepotism are tilting Nigeria towards a one-party state which is against our constitution.
Nigerians are suffering, and the once-admired middle class has been eliminated. No thanks to the terrible and hellish policies of this administration.

More so, there is no hope for the common man in the APC-led administration.
However, we will not lose hope in Democracy because the people will win at last.
In 2027, it will not be the APC against other parties. It will be ordinary Nigerians against the hardship, poverty, and inhumanity sponsored by the APC-led Federal government.
