Ajebamdele In Ado Ekiti Stinks With Refuse

Residents of Ajebamdele in Ado Ekiti are presently worried and of great concern concerning heavy refuse abandoned in their area by the officers of the Ekiti State Waste Management Board.

Several passerby and shop owners in the area are complaining bitterly as a result of the heavy dustbin placed by the road side in the area by the officers of the Ekiti State Waste Management Board filled with refuse, stinking and smelling to road users plying the road.

Observation during a visit to the area showed people covering their noses and mouth while passing around the location where the big dustbin was dropped and abandoned with no sign of its removal in sight.

One of the residents in the area who spoke with Treasure Newspaper under the condition of anonymity called on the officers of the Ekiti State Waste Management Board to be up with their duty by always ensuring the area is cleared of refuses and dustbin daily.

He expressed worry that the officers of the Ekiti State Waste Management Board are no where to be found since yesterday despite that they are part of the essential services providers in the State.
