Brotherhood Of The Cross And Star is About Love, Oneness, Togetherness And Other Virtues Of God – Says Irefin

Professor David Irefin is the International Chairman of the Christ Universal Missionary Crusade Fellowship of the Cross and Star. He recently led a team of men and women of God from the twelve nations of Nigeria to an evangelistic mission to Ekiti State. 

In this interview with Journalists, he spoke about Brotherhood of the Cross and Star as well as the kingdom of God among other things.

(Q) Tell us about Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the Kingdom of God and His Christ. It also stands for oneness and togetherness. This Kingdom of God does not constitute in  eating, dancing and merry making. Rather, it constitutes joy, holiness, silence, peace and truthfulness. The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star does not constitute craftiness, immorality, deceitfulness and other vices that people indulge in. 

The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the angels are all here in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. This Kingdom of God is Holy and undefiled. All that is needed in the Kingdom is righteousness, peace, joy and the fear of God. For anybody to inherit this Kingdom of God, such a person must avoid violence and pride and embrace peace and humility.

(Q) What is the teaching of the Church about the love of the kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God needs love and righteousness. That is why every soul needs to be righteous. God requires love and respect. Therefore, people must always love, respect and fear God in their mind, thoughts and deeds. For by so doing they have glorified him.

This has been in existence before the foundation of the world was laid. Therefore it is not a church, cult or society. Unlike churches and other religions that are recently introduced into the world, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is about love, oneness, togetherness and other virtues of God. The Founder, Builder and Sustainer of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe; Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. In Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the Father uses the word of God to change and transform Man from unrighteousness to righteousness. The main assignment of the Father in this last advent is to use the word of God to uproot the counterfeit lifestyle, which the people of the world are indulging in. The Father is here in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to aid humanity from sinful ways to the way of rectitude. The most important aspect of this Kingdom is how and why man should be changed from his sinful state to the way of rectitude. This can only be possible if man possesses all the virtues of God. And this is the reason why the Father always enjoins us to possess love, peace and other virtues.

(Q) What is the teaching of the Church about sin?

Presently, God is waging a war against sins and this is the Armageddon war, which you had been hearing about. The aim of this war is to eradicate sins and evils from His dwelling place. Once God succeeds in this war, man will then be fit for God to dwell in.

But for God, no other person can change a fellow man. Healing the sick is an easy task but the ultimate work one can boast of, is to change mankind from sinfulness to righteousness.

That is the reason why Leader Olumba Olumba Obu says governments of this world wages war against indiscipline, while Brotherhood of the Cross and Star wages war against sin. This Kingdom of God is Holy and should be kept Holy.

In fact, it is only in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star that the word of God resides, preached and practiced.

(Q) Recently, the Church embarked on an evangelistic mission to Ekiti State, what is the significance of the evangelical mission?

The significance of the evangelical mission is to create awareness among the inhabitants of Ekiti State on how the word of God can aid them to overcome sin and create enabling environment for peaceful coexistence. 

The evangelical mission to Ekiti State is to reveal the teachings and practices of our Lord Jesus Christ as the only source of salvation and eternal life.

Moreover, it also reminds the inhabitants of Ekiti state to know that until they emulate our Lord Jesus Christ in humility and put the word of God into practice, the Kingdom of God will certainly elude them. This is why our Lord Jesus Christ made a statement that all those who came before Him are thieves and robbers. 

Therefore, it is not performing his word that is important but rather the ability to emulate his lifestyle to the latter. Man, must copy His meekness, humility, self-control, kindness and selfless service to humanity. Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ never quarreled with any man. All His services were rendered free. He treated everybody equally. He did not input sin to any human being. Rather, His main concern centered on the welfare and peaceful coexistence for all.  This mission reminds the inhabitants of Ekiti State not to do anything that is capable of dragging the name of God in the mud. 

(Q) What is the significance of the mission to the inhabitants of Ekiti State?

In summary, the evangelical mission is to remind the inhabitants of Ekiti State that when they fornicate, kill, steal, fight, quarrel, discriminate or sow the seed of discord, they have soiled the name of God.

Therefore, for the growth of the kingdom He has sent us out to teach the world what He has taught us so that the inhabitants of Ekiti State and Human family might be partakers of the Glory of God. Acceptance of this Kingdom by the human family irrespective of religion and political divide will put an end to poverty, sorrow, weeping, gnashing of teeth and lamentation. 

In addition, the evangelical mission offers the opportunity for the inhabitants of Ekiti State to refrain from carnality by accepting the teachings and practices of our Lord Jesus Christ as being preached and practiced by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.

(Q) What is the teaching of the Brotherhood about holiness?

Contrary to other teachings, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu emphasized that the only thing God expects from every human is holiness. According to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, no person can build a house for God, for He does not live in a house built by man. After all, heaven and earth belongs to Him including everything under the sun. Once God makes His abode in you, you become an overcomer and things will take a new turn in your life. Under such a condition, you will only be thinking about salvation of others and their goodness and your life will now center on God only. In the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, our interest is not in the material things of this world but the Kingdom of God. Our goal is in righteousness, peace and everlasting joy. 

With the presence of God in us, we are at liberty to spread the good tidings of our Lord Jesus Christ. These good tidings which constitute the word of God is the most powerful weapon that satan fears. Therefore, whenever you preach the teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, satan is bound to take to his heals. This accounts for the joy we have in this kingdom because we live in unity, oneness and love. This is because the word of God preached by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has changed us to Himself and we no longer experience sinfulness.
