Cook-a-thon: NAWOJ Tasks Chef Dammy To Braze Up On Guinness World Record, Applauds Determination

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ekiti State Chapter has urged a Nigerian Chef Damilola Faparusi to ensure the realization of her desire in breaking the Guinness World  Records on Marathon Cooking.

The Ekiti-born Chef Dammy recently concluded a 120-hour marathon cooking.

Damilola during a visit to the Secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, on Friday was said to have stated that she embarked on the initial 120- hour marathon cooking to test her capability in breaking the Guinness World Record, she expressed readiness to face the task by setting up another target of 150-hour Cook-a-thon to replace Hilda Baci as the world record holder for the longest cooking marathon, going through  the necessary official  process.

NAWOJ in a press statement by the Chairperson, Mrs Fatima Bello and the Secretary, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju  charged the Chef on ensuring necessary modalities in the execution of the task for positive result. The Women Journalists encouraged Damilola not to be deterred in achieving her ambition adding that she is on the right path.

‘You have already set up a record of contributing your own parts to the development of girl child, ensure all stages of the fresh target are properly done for the achievements of the objective”.

The women journalists appeal to all relevant stakeholders on necessary support for the Chef to realize the desire.
