Disregard Facebook Page, Online Platforms Operating In FUTESI’s Name – Management Tells Public

Members of the public have been told by the Management of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, FUTESI, Iyin Ekiti to totally disregard the Facebook pages, the online platforms opened as well as other platforms falsely operating  in the name of the Institution.

In a statement by the School Registrar, Mr Oluwole Dada, and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Aribisala clarified that the university has not launched any official website or social media account, including Facebook page. 

Professor Aribisala described the online activities as the handiwork of unscrupulous individuals attempting to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

The FUTESI Vice Chancellor reaffirmed the university team commitment to transparency and integrity, saying that neither the VC nor any member of the management would engage in or endorse fraudulent practices.

The FUTESI management therefore, dissociated themselves from the fake social media platforms and urged members of the public to be cautious and avoid interacting with impostors posing as representatives of the institution.

Professor Aribisala however warned those operating illegal Facebook account and other social media platforms in the name of the university to close such with immediate effect or face the full wrath of law.
