Ekiti Broadcaster, Ayodele Aladesuyi Clocks 50 As Friends, Colleagues Celebrate Her

A popular radio presenter and broadcaster on Progress 100.5FM Ado Ekiti, in Ekiti State, Mrs Ayodele Aladesuyi has been widely celebrated by her friends and colleagues in the media as she clocks 50 years old on earth as well as attained her 20 th wedding anniversary.

Top members of the media profession in Ekiti State who gathered to celebrate Aladesuyi includes the General Manager of Progress 100.5FM in Ado Ekiti, Dr Mrs Bola Agbaje; the Head of Programmes, Alhaja Fatima Bello and the State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi.

Also at the event were the Director-General of Community Communication, in Ekiti State, Mrs. Mary Osho Omotosho and former Permanent Secretary, Mr. Sola Ogunmiluyi.

Speakers at the event described Mrs. Aladesuyi as a quintessential professional, whose five decades of life reflect dedication, integrity and service to humanity. 

They praised her as a broadcaster who has consistently upheld the ethics of journalism, noting that her commitment to truth, accuracy and fairness has earned her respect within and beyond the media industry.

In her remarks, Mrs. Omotosho extolled the celebrant’s unwavering dedication to duty, describing her as a woman of courage and conviction who speaks truth without fear or favour. 

She added that Mrs. Aladesuyi’s blunt, no-nonsense disposition, combined with her deep sense of responsibility, has made her a dependable voice in Ekiti’s broadcast space.

Similarly, Dr. Agbaje and Mrs. Bello applauded her professionalism, reliability and factual approach to programme delivery, stressing that she remains a role model to younger broadcasters and a stabilizing force within Progress FM.
