The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has reassured the citizens of the State of government’s commitment towards providing affordable residential and commercial building facilities to drive business and industrial growth in the State.

This pledge was made during the commissioning of a 26-apartment neighborhood shopping complex by the Ekiti State Housing Corporation in Ado Ekiti, the State capital on Monday.
The governor emphasized on the importance of providing affordable housing units that can accommodate investors and business owners, describing it as crucial to the state’s economic survival.
He also highlighted his administration’s efforts to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, including investing in security architecture and providing billions of naira in credit facilities to support small-scale businesses and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The newly commissioned shopping complex is expected to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, artisans, and small business owners to showcase their products and services, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.

The government also invest in the security architecture, ensuring the protection of lives and property, which has facilitated the inflow of investment into the State’s economy.
In addition to this project, Governor Oyebanji has also launched the Ado Ekiti New Town Housing Project, which aims to provide 1,000 units of affordable housing. This project is a partnership between the state government and private investors, and is expected to boost economic growth and provide opportunities for residents to own houses of their own.
