Ekiti Governor Pledges To Champion Education To Grow BOUESTI

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has pledged to champion the Education sector in the State to grow the Bamidele Olumilua University of Science, Education, and Technology located in Ikere Ekiti, by raising the Institution’s social, political and economic growth. 

Speaking at the 1st Convocation Ceremony of Bamidele Olumilua University of Science, Education, and Technology (BOUESTI), Governor Oyebanji congratulated himself, the granduant and also the distinguished personalities that were honoured honorary awards.  

The Governor equally emphasized the importance of education in transforming the state. He said, “it is education that shapes mind and mould leaders.” 

Governor Oyebanji has consistently highlighted his administration’s efforts to establish Ekiti State University as a world-class institution. This includes investing in infrastructure and digital tools, as well as launching initiatives like the Ekiti Digital Skill Academy. 

He explained that the academy would aim to equip 500 youths with laptops and other devices to enhance their learning experience and foster job creation in the State. 

The Governor added that he will continue to provide facilities needed for the progress of Bamidele Olumilua University of Science, Education, and Technology, Ikere Ekiti.
