Enugu Air Hits Nigerian Airspace Courtesy Of Governor Mbah 

…. Commences Flights To Enugu, Abuja

Barely two years of the Enugu State Governor, Mr Peter Mbah’s first term in office, an airline named Enugu Air has hit the Nigerian Airspace courtesy of the first citizen of the Coal State, with assurances of commencement of flights for Enugu and Abuja. 

In a groundbreaking ceremony, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, launched the Enugu Air, a state-owned airline, marking a significant milestone in Governor Peter Mbah’s vision to transform Enugu into a major aviation hub. 

The airline commenced operations with three Embraer aircraft, symbolizing a new era in air travel for the state.

Keyamo praised Governor Mbah’s relentless pursuit of progress, describing him as “an incredible, performing governor” who has made remarkable strides in just two years. 

Keyamo said, “despite being from different parties, he commended Mbah’s exceptional leadership, stating that his re-election in 2027 might be a challenge to predict due to his impressive performance”.

The Minister lauded the partnership between Enugu State and XEJet, a 100% Nigerian-owned aviation company, which will operate and manage Enugu Air.

XEJet’s expertise and reputation in the industry will undoubtedly propel Enugu Air to success. Most especially, with plans to expand routes beyond Nigeria, Enugu Air aims to connect the state to major global business hubs.

Governor Mbah emphasized that Enugu Air will stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and provide faster access to markets and capital for businesses. 

The airline’s launch is a testament to Nigeria’s vast aviation potential and economic resurgence. 

Mbah thanked President Bola Tinubu, Keyamo, and Fidelity Bank for their support in realizing this ambitious project.

As Enugu Air takes to the skies, the people of Enugu State can look forward to improved air travel services, increased economic opportunities, and a brighter future. With its sights set on becoming a major aviation hub, Enugu State is poised for significant growth and development.
