Enugu Governor Receives Honorary Award, Commends Ekiti Governor On Education

The Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has expressed profound gratitude to BOEUSTI for conferring an honorary award on him.

In his acceptance speech, the Governor thanked the University for the honor and commended his brother, the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for prioritizing education in his State.

The governor emphasized the importance of education in today’s fast-paced world, where technology is rapidly advancing. 

He praised the Ekiti Governor for investing in education, ensuring that the children of the state are not left behind.

In similar vein, Dr. Sanmi Mohammed Musa, who also received an honorary award, donated one million Naira to the university. 

Musa expressed his humility and gratitude for the honor, acknowledging the University’s commitment to nurturing young minds.

Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, Chairman, Deux Projects Ltd, another recipient of the honorary award, praised the Ekiti Governor as the “unscripted best governor” and a beacon of hope for the State. 

Olowolafe promised a cash prize to first-class students and commended the university’s leadership and the Senate for their dedication to education.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, and members of the Senate. 

The event afforded dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate the achievements of the award recipients and the university’s commitment to excellence in education.
