NANS Passes Vote Of Confidence On FUOYE VC, Professor Abayomi Fasina

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has passed a vote of confidence on the Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Oye Ekiti and the Chairman of the University’s Governing Council, Senator Victor Ndoma Egba.

NANS disclosed this position on Monday in Oye Ekiti during the Inauguration of Taiwo Owolewa as the Zonal Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Zone D.

NANS National Senate President, Akinteye Babatunde said the vote of confidence is as a result of the numerous achievements of the Vice Chancellor and academic prowess displayed by students of the institution in recent years.

He said the Professor Abayomi Fasina has completed about 130 projects in the University, increased the University ‘s faculties from eight to thirteen.

“Prof Abayomi has completed about 130 projects, moved the University from eight faculties to thirteen and the University now has about 130 programmes. He is about to Commission about twenty one other projects”.

In his response, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fasina restated his continued support for programmes and policies that will improve the standard of education across the Country.
