Obi Is A Failed Economist While Atiku Will Sell Nigeria If Voted In As President – Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi as a failed Economist while he accused Alhaji Atiku Abukakar, the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, of having the plan to sell off Nigeria as a Country if he is elected as the President come February 25th, 2023.

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stated this on Saturday while addressing his mammoth crowd of supporters during the Ondo State APC Presidential Campaign Rally held at the popular MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure, the Ondo State Capital. 

Asiwaju Tinubu in his words, described “Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, as a failed economist that he has been parading himself to be. He told the people of Ondo State that, for Obi, all he could do is to safe monies. I don’t even know how much he has been able to safe. Obi is a wicked parent and has nothing to be proud of in Anambra State where he was once a Governor. Instead, he left Anambra State and came to Lagos to take a sojourn. Obi is a fake doing a fake business”, Tinubu declared. 

Continuing, Tinubu queried why Obi migrated from Anambra to Lagos State. He pleaded with the people and electorates in Ondo State and Nigerians at large to ensure they don’t entrust the affairs of the Country, Nigeria into the hand of the trader called Peter Gregory Obi to prevent him from selling off the Country’s refineries to his friends and cronies. 

Speaking on the Presidential ambition of Alhaji Atiku Abukakar, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Asiwaju Tinubu, said, “Atiku cannot do it. He doesn’t want to do a hard work, instead, he rather prefers to sell the birthrights of Nigerians to the highest bidder and his cronies and run away with the proceeds. 

Atiku lacks the capacity to rule Nigeria. When he was a leader in the Country, he misused the opportunity given to him to make a good mark in the Country. 

Speaking further, Tinubu affirmed that the only place where real progressives politics is played in the Country is Ondo State. “All of you here today, in Ondo State, my prayer is that, your children will excel and will not fail in life”.

Presidential election will be the time to determine the inheritance of the people of Ondo State and Nigeria at large. 

He however urged the people of Ondo State not to allow their voters card to get lost or to be stolen from them as they approach the February 23, 2023 presidential election. 

He used the opportunity of addressing his supporters in Akure, Ondo State to  thank all the current and past Governor’s present at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure such as the Governor’s of Lagos (Jide Sanwoolu), Ogun (Dapo Abiodun), Kano (Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje), Ekiti (represented by his Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye) and Ondo States (Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu) who happens to be the host Governor and others like the former Governor’s of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola among others.

Tinubu equally thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the warm reception he was giving during his stay in the State. 

He appealed to the electorates in Ondo State, that as from February 25, 2023, to all go out and make a wise decision by voting for him to become their next President of the Country. “Even if they changed the date, and the logistics, we will vote and we will still win” he assured.

“I want to assure you all, the people and electorates of Ondo State, that myself and my running mate, Alhaji Kashim Shettima shall give you a future full of hope. We are committed and ready to work very hard to enable the youths of Nigeria have monies on their hands”.

He commended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State for improving the infrastructures of Ondo State, and for ensuring that the cocoa seedlings industry in the State are back to operation. He added that the Cocoa plantation will earn the people of Ondo State a great fortune.

“We promised to develop the Ondo State deep sea port if we are elected as the President and Vice President of the Country as well as the hydro electricity and by that, estimated billings will be cancelled and be a thing of the past”.  

He also assured that, “the education sector in the Country will receive the priority of his government such that, no children of the poor will be left behind. We will established a students training fund for the children of the poor so that their future will not be blinked”.

Others present at the Akure APC Presidential Campaign Rally includes the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore; the State Chairman of the APC in Ondo State, Chief Ade Adetimehin; Barrister Isaac Kekemeke, the Southwest Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
