Pastor John Anosike of the Spirit Revelation Ecclesia located at Cape Town in South Africa has slammed the British Broadcasting corporation, BBC, over the unbalanced documentary aired by them on the Late Prophet TB Joshua.

The said Pastor Anosike in a reaction to the widely circulated documentary on the BBC recently, during his sermon at his Spirit Revelation Ecclesia Church in South Africa recently came heavily on the BBC, the popular electronic media.

According to him, he urged Nigerians and indeed Africans in general to recall how the BBC, the popular international Television Station aired a documentary on the life of Prophet TB Joshua, where they revealed some of the atrocities he was said to have committed in his lifetime which includes harassment, staged miracles, rape and manipulations among others things.

Anosike while reacting further, described the castigation from the BBC as a set up against the Late Man of God.

He explained further that BBC doesn’t preach anything related to Christ, so in his curiosity, he asked why they suddenly did a documentary about a man of God who is late.

He noted that the Television Channel doesn’t have the right to tell Christians what is wrong or right. “We have the Holy Spirit who will help us discern the false prophets from the true prophets”, he said.

The South African based Pastor however reminded the public not to forget the good things the late Prophet Tb Joshua did while he was alive.

He noted that the Prophet did not build a million seaters Church, rather he preached Christ and led millions of people to Christ. He helped the poor, the less privileged and he gave many people hope.

“He urged Africans to be reminded how the late Prophet was hated when he was alive, and how even in his grave, they are still fighting him”.

Anosike further shared the vision he saw concerning the documentary released about the late Prophet of God. He said he saw how Satan is set to disunite the Church of God through castigating great Men of God in the Nations.

“The war is not against the late TB Joshua. It is against the Church of God. He related it to the adulterous woman in the Holy Bible who the people wanted to kill not because of adultery but because they want to set a trap for Jesus. This is just a way of getting into the Church of God, and he said if Christians are not wise, they will fall into the trap”.

He explained further, that, even if the late Prophet is a wizard as they claimed, he still preached Christ, and because of this, the church should not allow the world to talk down on him.

He noted that as a Christian, he is set to protect the image of all the fathers in the faith, repeating that BBC does not have any right to talk down against any of them.

“He described the documentary from the BBC as an act of cowardness, saying they did a one-sided story. The integrity of a broadcast channel lies in broadcasting a balanced story. He asked BBC the fairness in destroying the image of a man of God who is dead and cannot defend himself.

He accused the BBC of being sponsored to aired the documentary they did. He however counselled those acting behind the scene to repent. “We Christians are ahead of you, and you can never defeat the Church because it has been built on a rock”, the man of God concluded.
