Stop Attacking Tinubu, APC Leaders, Osun APC Candidate Warns Adeleke

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, has said Governor Ademola Adeleke’s recent public outburst is a clear sign of impending defeat ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

Oyebamiji cautioned Governor Adeleke to desist from making inflammatory statements capable of disrespecting constituted authorities, especially President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

He also condemned what he described as unguarded utterances targeted at chieftains of the APC, warning that the party would not tolerate any irreverent or denigrating remarks against its leaders and members.

The APC candidate spoke while responding to questions from journalists during his campaign tour.

According to him, the Governor’s comments were reckless and unbecoming of his office, and only reflect panic in the face of obvious failure.

“I feel sorry for the Governor because he knows he is already losing. I will advise him to start packing his luggage. It is obvious that he is jittery,” Oyebamiji said.

“We have visited 27 Local Government Areas and people came out en masse to support us. They are yearning for a new Governor and for the party at the centre, the APC. I am not surprised by his outburst because he knows he is losing already.”

Oyebamiji expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.

“Come August 15th, 2026, APC is winning the election and I, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, will become the Governor-elect. Our tour has been very wonderful. I want to appeal to our people to go to their polling units peacefully. We want this election to be free, fair and credible. We have the people and they are with us. We are confident of victory,” he added.
